MixxMachine Studio 1.2 is now in QA and should be available for purchase and update over the next few days.
Our monthly release for February comes with a slew of new features. Read on for details.
The 1.2 comes with six effects: Delay, Phaser, Fuzz, MoogVCF, EQ3 and Parametric EQ. Effects can be organised in four sets (send lines) of three effects each. Each set has separate "dry" and "wet" volume and balance controls.
Automation allows automating changes to various parameters (e.g. volume/balance, effect params). Automation has been initially implemented per-beat and on the Pattern scope. This is a first incarnation so perhaps this will evolve into ability to control every parameter at every scope.
Extra sample pack
MixxMachine Studio 1.2 comes with additional sample pack (NuBase) containing around 200 samples. Highlights are multisampled Fender Telecaster guitar, Grand piano and a good range of beats and samples.
Playback sample rate control - lower live sample rate enables devices with even slow CPUs to run smoothly. This is particularly useful with effects and increasing demand for polyphony.
MixxMachine Studio 1.2 will be provided as a free update and should hit app stores in the next few days.
